Art Class Philosophy:

Whether you are a natural at drawing, or whether you have to work at it, you will improve through practice.
Drawing outside of class
is necessary in order to practice and develop skills.​

Students are encouraged to
compete against themselves,
- not with each other

Drawing a variety of subjects
(esp. subjects that students
are uncomfortable drawing),
builds confidence, and helps
students know, that they can
draw anything, with
patience and practice​

While Perfectionism can provide
determination and help students
to develop new skills,
it is important to learn to
affirm small steps​
