This class will have discussions and projects centered around the 7 principles of design and how we use them to strengthen our design skills and
create captivating art.

Students set up their own still life and lighting, arrange their own composition from various elements, and explore artistic freedom with photo references.

begins ​with warm up drawing exercises, ​
sketching, a brief study of materials,
a drawing lesson / demonstration, and
guided time to work on a
variety of project pieces.
Art work will be created from
live references, still life, and photos.
Graphite, pens, charcoal,
and colored pencils.
Students will be given
a sketchbook for class sketching and
a sketch book for Home Sketching
